Deadly Homecoming at Rosemont

       Best Summer Reads for 2017

Here’s the newest headline: "Publisher Black Rose Writing and Author Connie
Chappell Gear Up for New Book Release."
The release date is October 1, 2017, for Designs on Ivy’s Locket, A Wrenn Grayson Mystery. Between now and then, all my days will be busy ones with the requirements necessary for publishing this second novel in the Wrenn Grayson Mysteries series.
But first things first. You deserve a preview of Wrenn’s next case. Our historian-for-hire takes on a difficult client in Kerry St. John. Kerry seeks justice for his great-grandfather’s lifelong heartache. Wrenn meets the renowned jeweler through words recorded in his tattered journal. The year is 1946. He writes from the tiny crossroads of Wyatt, Ohio, about the theft of a treasured locket and the identity of three possible suspects.
In Designs on Ivy’s Locket, I focus on the theme of parents and children, separated by death, by theft, and by design.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll roll out a few more special previews so, please, visit again.
In the meantime, take a minute to look around my website and learn about my other three novels. One is Wrenn’s first mystery, Deadly Homecoming at Rosemont. On the literary fiction side are Wild Raspberries and its standalone sequel Proper Goodbye. Read the reviews. Leave a question or comment. Or make contact through Facebook or Twitter.
If you wish to purchase a book, please select that menu choice.
Should you live in or around my hometown, Springfield, Ohio, my novels are available at Teaberries Heart of Country Gift Shoppe and Champion City Guide and Supply. Village Chic, located in nearby South Charleston, carries all three current releases. Addresses are provided on the "Purchase" page.
It's been a pleasure meeting you, and thanks for stopping by!
