Deadly Homecoming at Rosemont

Very original crime-drama plot. Actually, two plots running parallel that gradually come together and intertwine during the last third of the book. "Fun" nail-biter at the end. Very rich, concise writing style that is expressive and helps the reader visualize the goings-on. Tastefully sexy in parts. Hopefully, Chappell will bring more Wrenn Grayson books to market. Even though the protagonist is a lady, this is not a chick-book. Well done! (five stars)

So much about this book that I loved. The characters, the tangled story, and how it pieces together the mystery of the murder discovered at Rosemont. If this is the first in a long line of mysteries featuring Wrenn Grayson by this author, then count me in for all that will follow. (five stars)

A fresh, new cozy mystery series that introduces us to the charming and resourceful female protagonist, Wrenn Grayson. Murder and a major theft are the events in a small Ohio town that propel historian Wrenn into danger and mystery-solving to help her friends. She is surrounded by interesting and convincing local characters that support a fast-paced hometown atmosphere. There is murder, mystery, romance, and humor, all wrapped up in a great entertaining story. Highly recommended. (five stars)

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The plot kept me guessing as to how it would all come together. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this book and this author. (five stars)

Just a quick note to tell you that I enjoyed your new book.  I had trouble putting it down and turning off the light to go to sleep. Congratulations! We are all proud of you.  There has been one troubling result of your book, however.  For some reason, I now have this compulsion to stop and pull weeds wherever I see them.
